It's been years since I've been in, and I have major dental trauma. Sitting down with Dr. Mena IMMEDIATELY put me at ease. She explained everything to me, assured me of their "no pain is acceptable" policy for me, and washed away my feelings of shame for my lack of dental hygiene. I literally cried. I've never felt so seen, heard or safe in a dental office. They have plenty of options for pain management, as well as ways to spread out appointments for comfort. I feel totally in control of my own experience there, which helps me let go of my need to control my experience there (if that makes sense.) I have some work to do on my teeth, but those few appointments were thoroughly explained, and pain management/breaking them up into multiple appointments was easy to do. Their health care coordinator is also a delight- providing financial information in the most painless way possible. You should go here for your care- but maybe not, so I always have room to come in. 100/10 Stars!!!

Vancouver Smiles Dentistry has been consistently excellent in both service and care. Appointments always run on time, which makes each visit easy to fit into a busy schedule. Stephanie Do, my hygienist, is thorough and efficient, and I really value how she walks me through what she's doing and why. Dr. Mena has also been fantastic—very knowledgeable and approachable, which makes a big difference when you're in the chair. The whole team is friendly, professional, and clearly committed to patient comfort and long-term dental health.

I'm not a patient here, BUT I brought a family member in late in the afternoon for emergency teeth repair. After calling a dozen dental offices they were the ONLY ones who would see her. Dr. Mena was amazing. Caring, helpful, and capable. They accepted our insurance and we had the repair done the very next morning, first thing. Great staff. Affordable competent services. Would definitely recommend.
